The Patio dining at L'Hirondelle also offers a view of the Mission set in a garden filled with flowers and draped in Bougainvillae with the peaceful sounds of a cascading fountain.

Walter and Raymonde Gasper began welcoming guests to L'Hirondelle in 1982. Walter is of Indonesian Dutch heritage and was raised in Holland. He came to California in the 1960's where he met Raymonde. Raymonde had moved to California to escape the Canadian winters but had been raised in Liege, Belgium. Together they welcome you to enjoy the taste and ambiance of Belgium in one of the most beautiful and historic settings in America.

Wayne De Von has been at L'Hirondelle since the first day as the General Manager and the Maitre D'. Wayne says of L'Hirondelle, "The atmosphere really compliments the restaurant. Wayne is supported by an excellent staff. The people who work here are a family. It's a great place to work. The food is consistently superb. Thatâs why people come here to dine from miles around."
